Abstract

Nowadays a lot of companies work on electronically supported systems for their project collaborations. With the help of this eCollaboration it is possible to optimize project management and therefore achieve an advantage in competition. In this diploma thesis a complete procedure model is designed, including all important aspects to understand eCollaboration tools.
The theoretical part consists of a presentation of state-of-the-art eCollaboration tools, of the company’s strategy, of processes in the field of project management and corporate culture, of the persons involved and of technical systems concerning eCollaboration. The result of this theoretical part is a procedure model, ready to be considered an eCollaboration support. In the practical part of this paper, the procedure model used at Gosch Consulting GmbH is described in more details.
Finally this procedure model and its results are set in contrast to models used in other companies.
